About Dr. Hallock

Dr. Justin Hallock is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specialized in sports medicine including open and arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, hip , and knee. He also has expertise in total joint replacement, complex fracture management, and hand surgery. He has vast experience with athletic coverage and has had the opportunity to work with teams at all levels including high schools, Division 1 colleges, the Memphis Red Birds baseball team, and the Memphis Grizzlies. He provides non-surgical and surgical care of all orthopaedic ailments. His extensive training and personalized approach to patient care results in thorough treatment and quick recovery to restore your quality of life.

Dr. Hallock grew up in Franklin, TN and completed high school at Battle Ground Academy. He then attended Birmingham Southern College and received a B.S in Biology. He completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN where he graduated at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA. He was selected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the most prestigious medical society, and was involved in many community activities including health fairs and working in a clinic for the underserved. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the world class Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN. Following residency he completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center where he had the opportunity to work with world renowned shoulder and elbow surgeons, Felix “Buddy” Savoie and Larry Field.

Dr. Hallock is married and has three children. His hobbies and interest include spending time with the family, wood working, golf, duck hunting, working out, and water sports.
